1. Shipping & Delivery

The Art of Patience (Production Time)

Since every masterpiece at Egyptian Fire Art is 100% hand-painted with oil on canvas, true quality cannot be rushed.

  • Timeline: Please allow 6 to 7 weeks for your painting to be meticulously created and sufficiently dried.
  • Why the wait? Oil paint requires significant time to cure properly. We strictly refuse to rush the drying process to ensure your art does not smudge during transit and lasts a lifetime.

Worldwide Express Shipping

We deliver our art from Egypt to the world using premium global couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS).

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is dispatched.
  • Phone Number Required: Please ensure you provide a valid mobile number at checkout, as international couriers require this to schedule delivery.

Secure Packaging

Your artwork is our most precious cargo. All paintings are shipped unframed and rolled inside a heavy-duty, reinforced safety tube. This ensures the canvas arrives in perfect condition, free from creases or impact damage.

  • Insurance: Every shipment is fully insured against loss or damage during transit.

Customs & Import Taxes

For international buyers, please be aware that your local government may charge import duties or VAT. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and are outside the control of Egyptian Fire Art.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

Because every painting is commissioned and painted specifically for you, we operate under a strict cancellation timeline to respect our artists’ time and materials:

  • Within 24 Hours: You may cancel for a Full Refund. No questions asked.
  • After 24 Hours: The artist has begun preparations (canvas stretching, sketching). A cancellation fee of 15% will be deducted.
  • After 7 Days: Work is well underway. Cancellations after 7 days are subject to a 50% deduction to cover material and labor costs.

3. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your masterpiece. Our policy is designed to be fair to you and sustainable for our artists.

A. Damaged or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that your painting arrives damaged or differs significantly from your order:

  • Action Required: Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. You must provide clear photos of the damage and the condition of the packaging.
  • Resolution: We will immediately arrange for a Free Replacement or a Full Refund. You will not be charged for any shipping costs in this scenario.

B. Change of Mind Returns

If the painting arrives in perfect condition but you wish to return it for personal reasons:

  • Timeline: You must contact us within 14 days of delivery and ship the item back within 30 days.
  • Condition: The painting must be returned in its original condition and packaging (rolled in the safety tube).
  • Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service (DHL/FedEx)

C. Important: Refund Deductions (Egyptian Customs)

Please understand that returning items to Egypt involves complex import regulations.

  • The Reality: If you return an item due to a change of mind, Egyptian Customs often charges significant duties to re-import the artwork.
  • The Policy: Any customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees charged by Egyptian authorities upon the item’s return will be deducted from your final refund amount. We encourage you to contact us first to discuss potential solutions before shipping, as these fees can be substantial.

D. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale unless damaged:

  • Custom Commissions: Paintings made to specific non-standard sizes or commissioned specifically for you.
  • Personalized Art: Any artwork that has been modified at your request.

4. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return or report an issue, please contact our support team at info@egyptianfireart.com with your Order Number. We will provide you with the correct return address and specific instructions.

Please do not ship any items back without contacting us first, as this may result in the package being rejected by customs.
